Christina Miller (she/her) is an administrative coordinator and junior agent with Nancy Yost Literary Agency. Christina graduated from Pace University with a degree in English Literature, Culture, & Media and a minor in Classic & Medieval Studies. Before joining the NYLA team, she spent two years as the Foreign Rights Assistant at InkWell Management. You can find her on Twitter (X): chrissymiller

She is interested in adult fiction in the following genres: romance, historical fiction, and horror. Focusing mainly on romance, she is especially drawn to historical, suspense, and paranormal, but is happy to read anything and everything in between! When it comes to historical fiction, Christina is looking for female-driven narratives and multi-generational storylines in a pre-20th century setting. As for horror, she’s open as long as it includes a mix of the supernatural/paranormal (she loves a ghost story!) and some lighthearted content—she wants to be scared, but not scared enough to put it down! She is also on the hunt for a Gothic tale—whether it takes place in the haunted halls of an old mansion, or within the ranks of a creepy cult, count her in.

“In college, I had a focus on medieval literature, and there will always be a special place in my heart for stories with a medieval setting!”

As always, please review the agency’s submission guidelines before you submit.

At this time, Christina only accepts queries via QueryManager — you can find her page here.

“For fiction and narrative nonfiction, be sure to include a query letter with a brief overview of your project, previous publications (if any), and other relevant information about you (i.e. writing affiliations, social media platform info, etc.) along with sample material.”
